Your heart will be captured instantly by the Beauty and Peacefulness of the unspoiled waters of Northern Ontario.

Lady Evelyn Lake is a body of water which originally started off as only a river, in 1925 a Hydro control dam was built.

There has never been road access to the Lake, it can only be accessed by water or air, which has fortunately protected our waters from being overpopulated & spoiled.

No matter where you choose to drop anchor, you'll find great species of fish. Walleye (Pickerel), Pike & Bass are waiting to bite your line whether you Troll, Drift, Still Fish or Cast. Maybe you would rather take a day trip into one of our remote lakes and try your hand at some Trout.

Maple Mountain is the second highest peak in Ontario and is only 18 miles from Camp. Take a trip and experience the thrill of climbing this peak. There is a well marked trail, you'll find the scenery Breathtaking.

ELLEN ISLAND CAMP is situated on beautiful Lady Evelyn Lake a fisherman's paradise. Lady Evelyn Lake is known for its excellent fishing of walleye or pickerel, northern pike, smallmouth bass, whitefish and perch.

Fantastic Fishing! No matter where you drop anchor, you'll find these northern favorites: Northern Pike, Walleye or Pickerel and Bass. While these species are native to our lake, there are portage lakes and streams for Lake Trout and Speckled Trout.

Ellen Island Fishing Camps cottages are generally rented from Saturday to Saturday. All our cottages are fully equipped with a propane fridge, stove, oven, propane lights (electric lights in evening), all bedding,dishes, utensils, pots & pans,airtight woodstove or propane heater, large screened in verandah overlooking the Lake and your own firepit for your evening marshmallow and weinie roasts.

Here at Ellen Island Fishing Camp, we feel choice is important, and for that reason, we offer two packages for you to hook onto.

If there's something in these packages that does not meet your requirements, please let us know and we'll do our best to accommodate your wishes.

Our cottages are generally rented from Saturday until Saturday, however there are times when exceptions may be made.

All our cottages are Fully Equipped with a propane fridge, stove, oven, propane lights (electric lights in evening), BBQ, Picnic table, all bedding, dishes, utensils, pots & pans, airtight woodstove or propane heater, large screened in verandah overlooking the lake, and your own fire pit.

Portage to one of the surrounding lakes and try your luck at catching Lake Trout and Speckled Trout. The breath taking scenery and peaceful, relaxing atmosphere at Ellen Island Camp will let you leave with many wonderful memories and anxious to come back.
